Utilizing a formal and independent investment process, Hickok & Boardman Retirement Solutions (HBRS) is a fiduciary on your plan while working as an Independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). The process starts with an Investment Policy Statement (IPS), which states the criteria used to advise the committee to objectively select, monitor, and replace investments as needed. The following 9 criteria are reviewed for each of the investments in your plan on a consistent basis to help ensure all components of the investment are addressed:

2. Correlation to investment style and peer group
3. Performance relative to peer group
4. Performance relative to assumed risk
5. Minimum track record
6. Assets in fund
7. Holdings consistent with style
8. Expense ratios/fees
9. Stability of the organization

Our detailed and documented process ensures that our clients are meeting the obligations of the Investment Policy Statement (IPS): overseeing investments, taking prudent actions, and enabling the committee to act in the best interests of the participants. Fee Benchmarking	We benchmark your investment fees against peer groups and industry norms.
IPS Fulfillment	We measure investment results by criteria established in your Investment Policy Statement, and assist you in following procedures for placing underperforming investments on probation, or replacing them with investments that meet the preset specific standards.
